I would like to have a modification of this script, which would allow me to drag out a rectangle that started at the mouse down location and that disapeared at the mouse up location, after storing both the mouse down and mouse up coordinates in variables. It shoud be able to function over the entire surface of the window. I need to capture the rect coordinates as dragged, in order to pass to a spatial server (to build a new map envelope).

Help would be greatly appreciated - and paid for.

Regards,
