hi
this class looks great, I have however a question how to go about this:

- I have an original image
- I have a mask black & white

now I want to combine ith with another image.

image it is placing a portrait or a person in front of a background image.

I am not sure how to use the class to add this other image...

thanks!!

Hi there,

I think yo uslightly misunderstand what this clas does. It doesn't overlay one picture on another, which sounds like what you want, but instead creates a sort of 'cut out' of one image based on the mask supplied.

There is a thread that concerns using the 'drop shadow' class (don't be fooled by the name - it's actually a feature packed resizer) and how to use that to overlay one image on another. See:

http://php.amnuts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94

If you wanted to use the masking class then the code in that thread should be easy enough to apply over. Or follow the links in that thread to the PHP functions to find out more.

Regards,

Andy
