Hi Andy and everyone...

I'm looking for a way to use the drop shadow thumbnail to work with video files too....

Can anybody help me with that?

Itamar.

I've not found a way of doing this with GD. However, I think imagemagick can save each frame of a movie as an image (or possibly it's just an animated gif it can seperate up?) There is probably some shell utility that can do this for you, just run a search on google or something. If you find one, just execute a system command from within PHP, check for the creation of the image and then drop the shadow on to it.

Here's a great resource for doing this type of thing:

(circle.ch in general is a great place to visit!)
