Hi, I'm a newbee. Been using this script for a couple months and got it working Great! However I just updated mySQL through yum, and I installed Zend Optimizer and I upgraded my PLESK control panel.

Now my Crop Canvas still works, however the images that are submitted through my form appear on the canvas jumbled, the first 10 pixels at the top look fine and then the rest of the image is a mess. All my settings in my php.ini file are the same with the exception of the [Zend] settings at the bottom.

If I go ahead and crop the image, it works but the final image looks just like the jumbled mess that I cropped from the canvas.

This has been driving me crazy for days can somebody help!

Hi, and welcome to the board.

Are you sure that the images themselves are OK? The cropping interface literally just displays the image through a standard HTML img tag, so if it's coming up corrupted then chances are it's the image that's bad. Try viewing the image directly in the browser and see if it's still looking jumbled.

Okay so you're right, the images that are getting saved to the temp file are corrupt.

Have any ideas as to what is causing my files to become corrupt, the images are good until submitted through my form?? My form syntax is correct, right??

Do you think the Zend Optimizer or Encoder has anything to do with this problem???

Hihgly doubtful... The Optimizer works just on PHP code, as does the Encoder. They don't effect how the functions work, just how the engine handles the script.

Perhaps when you originally put your images up they were corrupted? Have you tried with new images that you can confirm are OK on the server?
